Class Level: Beginner to Intermediate

Description: 

This hands-on class introduces the fundamentals of operating a news-style video camera. Participants will learn how to set up and use essential equipment including tripods, lavaliere microphones, SD cards, batteries, and headphones. Through guided demonstrations and practical exercises, students will explore key camera functions such as iris (aperture), ISO, white balance, frame rate, built-in ND filters, and audio setup for interviews. By the end of the session, participants will be able to confidently record, monitor, and manage video footage for field production.
